The exhibition Eye on Poland, highly appreciated by the audiences in Asia, had its subsequent edition. In the summer of 2016 this exhibition of best contemporary Polish graphic design was presented in Mumbai.
In the autumn of 2015 a series of exhibitions celebrating the best of new Polish graphic design entitled Eye on Poland were held in Japan, South Korea and India. The exhibition in India was presented in collaboration with Art Heritage Gallery, New Delhi, where it attracted great interest amongst visitors and art aficionados. In 2016 the Polish Institute in New Delhi and Culture.pl in collaboration with the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Mumbai City Museum presented the exhibition also in Mumbai.
The exhibition, curated by Magdalena and Artur Frankowski of Fontarte Studio, showcases contemporary Polish graphic design as represented in the most interesting projects of the past few years. The exhibited works include posters, books, exhibition catalogues, CD and vinyl record covers – prints of various designs and functions, which can be transformed by an outstanding designer from utilitarian objects to means of artistic expression. Most of the exhibited works were commissioned by cultural institutions, museums, foundations and art galleries.
