As part of the continuation of the Asia Programme’s activities in Vietnam, as well as the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, in late November 2018 the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi hosted three concerts featuring pieces by Polish and Vietnamese composers. The Musée des Arts Décoratifs is paying tribute to Roman Cieślewicz (1930– 1996). A major figure in graphic design in the second half of the 20th century, he was a key artist of the Polish Poster School before conquering the world of graphic design when he arrived in France. Viet Nam National Symphony Orchestra performed a concert under the baton of Polish maestro Wojciech Czepiel. At the turn of November and December 2017, Grzegorz Karnas Formula gave a series of concerts in China, Malaysia and Indonesia. Polish vocalist also conducted workshops for Asian students in all three countries. The tour was a part of the Jazz Po Polsku project promoting independent Polish music worldwide. Maestro Wojciech Czepiel conducted symphonic concerts of Polish classical music in Hanoi and Rangoon. During the concert in Vietnam, solo piano parts were performed by the Japanese pianist Atsuko Seta. Read more about: Concerts of Polish Classical Music in Vietnam and Myanmar

In early December 2016 jazz guitarist Rafał Sarnecki gave a concert tour in Malaysia. His Polish/Malaysian quintet performed at Penang Island Jazz Festival and in Kuala Lumpur. In autumn 2015 a series of exhibitions titled Eye on Poland, presenting the latest Polish graphic design, was held in India, South Korea and Japan. Two Polish theatre companies performed at two prestigious festivals in India: Bharat Rang Mahotsava in New Delhi and the International Theatre Festival of Kerala in Thrissur in the south of the country.
